Peacock Plan Price Guide: Select $8.99, Premium $12.99, Premium Plus $19.99
Peacock sells three tiers in October 2026: Select for NBC and Bravo shows with ads, Premium with live sports and movies, Premium Plus with fewer ads and downloads.
Peacock sells three plans as of October 9, 2026, and the cheapest one is not a smaller version of the others. Select, $8.99 a month, is NBC and Bravo television with ads and “Excludes Live Sports, Movies and Peacock Originals.” Premium, $12.99, adds the sports, films and originals, still with ads. Premium Plus, $19.99, removes most ads and adds downloads, with the asterisk that “ads remain in channels, live sports/events, and a few shows and movies.” Each has an annual price that works out to “12 Months for the Price of 10,” and all three went up on August 18, 2026. This guide lays out the three tiers, the annual math, the Apple TV bundles and the 18-to-24 discount from Peacock’s own pages. Prices and plan lines from Peacock’s plan page, cost article and price-increase notice, US versions, read October 9, 2026. Peacock adds tax to every price.

Select: television only, with ads
The plan page describes Select in three lines: “Watch TV, with ads.” “TV Favorites from NBC, Bravo, & More.” “Excludes Live Sports, Movies and Peacock Originals.” The price is $8.99 a month or $89.99 a year. Peacock’s cost article confirms it: “Additionally, you can sign up for the Peacock Select Tier for $8.99/month or $89.99/year.”
What Select leaves out is most of what Peacock advertises. No NFL Sunday night games, no Premier League, no Olympics coverage, no films, and none of the originals. It is a catalog of broadcast and cable television for people who want NBC and Bravo on demand and nothing else.
Premium: the full catalog, with ads
Premium is the tier Peacock marks “MOST POPULAR” and prices at “$12.99 a month (+tax) or $129.99 per year (+tax).” The plan page: “Watch TV, movies, sports & more, with ads,” with “TV Favorites from NBC, Bravo & More,” “LIVE Sports & Events” and “Hit Films & Peacock Originals.” The $4 over Select buys the sports, the movies and the originals; the ads stay.
Premium Plus: fewer ads, downloads, and an asterisk
Premium Plus is “$19.99 a month (+tax) or $199.99 per year (+tax)” for “all of our content with no ads (limited exceptions).” The plan page’s version of the promise is “Watch TV, movies, sports & more, with no ads (limited exceptions)” and “Downloads & No Ads (limited exceptions)*.” The asterisk is the part to read: “*Some features and content are sponsored; ads remain in channels, live sports/events, and a few shows and movies; not all content available for download.” So a Premium Plus subscriber watching a live game still sees ads, and not every title can be downloaded.
The annual math and the August increase
Every tier’s annual plan is sold as “Get 12 Months for the Price of 10.” The arithmetic, ours, holds exactly: $89.99 is ten times $8.99 plus a cent, $129.99 is ten times $12.99 plus a cent, $199.99 is ten times $19.99 plus a cent. Paying annually saves about 16.7% if you keep the plan all year, and nothing if you would have cancelled after two or three months.
The price-increase notice records the latest change: “Effective August 18, 2026, the prices of Peacock subscription plans will be changed.” The new monthly prices: “A Peacock Select monthly subscription is now $8.99/month (up from $7.99).” “A Peacock Premium monthly subscription is now $12.99/month (up from $10.99).” “A Peacock Premium Plus monthly subscription is now $19.99/month (up from $16.99).” Annual plans rose from $79.99, $109.99 and $169.99 to $89.99, $129.99 and $199.99. The dollar increases were $1, $2 and $3 a month, so the gap between Select and Premium Plus widened from $9 to $11. The month-by-month record of this and other increases is in our October 2026 price increases post.
Bundles with Apple TV
The same notice covers the bundles: “Effective September 1, 2026, the prices of Apple TV and Peacock bundles will be changed.” “The Apple TV and Peacock Premium bundle is now $17.99/month (up from $14.99).” “The Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus bundle is now $22.99/month (up from $19.99).” Existing bundle subscribers moved to the new price on their next billing date on or after October 1, 2026. There is no Apple TV bundle with Select.
The 18-to-24 discount
Peacock’s young adult page offers “Peacock Premium for only $12.99 $6.99/mo. for 12 months,” which puts Premium below the price of Select for a year. The terms: “Annual verification required. After 12 months, you will be charged $12.99 or the then-current retail price (+tax) each month until you cancel.” Eligibility runs through SheerID, and you must be “between the ages of 18 and 24 at the time of verification.” Existing subscribers “may need to cancel their existing subscription prior to redeeming this offer.”
Where the documents disagree or leave gaps
“No ads” is “limited exceptions.” Premium Plus keeps ads in channels, live sports and events, and some shows and movies, per Peacock’s own asterisk.
Select’s exclusions are broad. The page names live sports, movies and Originals as excluded; it does not list which shows are in or out.
Bundle pricing is monthly only. The Apple TV bundles are listed per month; no annual bundle price appears.
The young adult price is a Premium price. $6.99 buys Premium, not Select, for 12 months; after that it reverts to Premium’s monthly rate.
Tax is always extra. Every Peacock price line carries “+tax.”
Before you choose
This is a sequence of checks, not a recommendation:
- Name what you watch. Only NBC and Bravo shows points to Select; any sports, film or original requires Premium
- Decide whether $7 a month is worth fewer ads and downloads. Premium Plus still shows ads in live sports and channels
- Pay annually only if you will stay all year. The saving is two months; cancelling early forfeits it
- If you are 18 to 24, verify first. $6.99 for Premium beats every other published Peacock price for 12 months
- If you already pay for Apple TV, price the bundle. $17.99 or $22.99 a month for both
- Add the plan to your renewal calendar. The Subscription Tracker carries the three Peacock rows with the August increase dates
