Hulu sells one streaming library at eleven different prices, depending on what you bundle with it. As of October 10, 2026, Hulu’s own plans and prices page lists Hulu (With Ads) at $12.49 a month or $124.99 a year, Hulu Premium at $21.49, the Disney+, Hulu Bundle at $12.99 or $21.99, the HBO Max bundles at $21.99 or $34.99, Hulu + Live TV from $99.99, and a Live TV Only plan at $98.99 that drops the Hulu library altogether. These are the prices for new subscriptions since September 23, 2026; the page says anyone who signed up earlier sees the new price “in your billing cycle on or after October 21, 2026.” This guide puts every plan and add-on price on one page, does the arithmetic Hulu’s page leaves out, and flags the one row that moved since our last read. If you are leaving instead, the steps and the bundle catch are in our Hulu cancellation guide.

Prices from Hulu’s plans and prices page, read October 10, 2026, for new subscriptions. Two legacy plans are still listed for existing subscribers only: Disney+ Premium, Hulu, ESPN Select Bundle Legacy at $27.99 and an older Hulu + Live TV, Disney+ Premium, and ESPN Select plan at $94.99.

Diagram: which Hulu plan in October 2026, Hulu With Ads at 12.49 dollars or 124.99 a year, Hulu Premium at 21.49 with no ads except a few shows, the Disney+ Hulu Bundle at 12.99 or 21.99 for 50 cents over Hulu alone, Hulu + Live TV at 99.99 or 109.99 with Live TV Only at 98.99, and the HBO Max bundle at 21.99 or 34.99, with the note that new prices apply from September 23, 2026 and to existing accounts from October 21

What the two standalone plans include

Hulu’s page describes the standalone plans as access to “thousands of hit shows, movies, and more from the Hulu streaming library,” and adds that eligible subscribers can “redeem Hulu’s Student Discount, or sign up for annual billing.” The student price is not on this page.

Hulu (With Ads), $12.49 a month or $124.99 a year. The feature list is short: “Supports up to 5.1 audio,” “Experience video quality in up to 4K UHD,” and “Stream on multiple devices at a time.” The annual plan is the only one on the whole page with a yearly price. Twelve months at $12.49 is $149.88, so $124.99 saves $24.89, about 17%, and works out to $10.42 a month.

Hulu Premium, $21.49 a month. Same audio, video and multi-device lines, plus “Download select shows and movies” and “Stream with family and friends using Hulu Watch Party.” One caveat sits under the plan: “Please note that Hulu Premium excludes a few shows that play with ads before and after the video.” So No Ads is not quite no ads. The gap between the two standalone plans is $9.00 a month, or $108 a year.

The Disney+ bundles: 50 cents more than Hulu alone

The cheapest bundle is the odd row on the page. The Disney+, Hulu Bundle, both services with ads, is $12.99, which is 50 cents more than Hulu (With Ads) at $12.49. The Premium version, both services with no ads, is $21.99, again 50 cents over Hulu Premium at $21.49. Disney+‘s own plans and prices page lists the same two bundle prices from its side, and its standalone Disney+ plans are $12.49 and $21.49, so each service alone costs what the pair costs minus 50 cents.

Adding ESPN moves the price in bigger steps. The Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Select Bundle is $21.99 with ads and $32.99 in the Premium version, where Hulu and Disney+ lose ads but “ESPN Select (With Ads)” keeps them. The ESPN Unlimited versions are $35.99 and $44.99. By our math, the ESPN Select Bundle at $21.99 is $4.99 less than buying the $12.99 Disney+, Hulu Bundle and adding the $13.99 ESPN Select add-on separately. What ESPN Select and Unlimited each cover is in our ESPN Select explainer.

One bundle is closed to new buyers. The Disney+ Premium, Hulu, ESPN Select Bundle Legacy at $27.99 is listed with the note that it “is no longer available to purchase or switch into on Disney+,” and that existing subscribers keep it “so long as they do not cancel or change it.”

The HBO Max bundles: cheaper than the add-on

The Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Bundle (With Ads) is $21.99 and pairs Disney+ and Hulu with ads with “HBO Max Basic (With Ads).” The No Ads version is $34.99, with “Disney+ Premium (No Ads),” “Hulu Premium (No Ads),” and “HBO Max Standard (No Ads).”

The same page prices HBO Max as a Hulu add-on at $10.99 for Basic With Ads and $18.49 for Standard. By our arithmetic, Disney+, Hulu Bundle plus the HBO Max Basic add-on would be $23.98, so the ad-supported bundle saves $1.99 a month; the Premium pair plus HBO Max Standard would be $40.48, so the No Ads bundle saves $5.49. Hulu’s page notes the HBO Max bundles are not eligible for the Extra Member add-on, covered below.

Live TV: the $1 difference nobody should miss

The main plan, Hulu + Live TV, Disney+, and ESPN Select, is $99.99 a month: live channels, Hulu with ads, Disney+ with ads and ESPN Select with ads. The ad-free version, Hulu Premium + Live TV, Disney+ Premium, and ESPN Select, is $109.99. Both also unlock more ESPN than the name suggests: “Hulu + Live TV plans also include access to the full ESPN Unlimited experience within the ESPN app,” which the page lists as ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network, ACC Network, ESPNEWS, ESPN+, ESPN Deportes and ESPN on ABC when you log into the ESPN app.

Then there is Live TV Only at $98.99. Hulu’s note: “Please note that this plan gives subscribers access to live content only and does not include the Hulu streaming library or access to Disney+.” By our math, one dollar more buys the Hulu library, Disney+ and ESPN Select on top of the same live channels.

This row also moved. On our September 25 read of the same page, Live TV Only was listed at $88.99, and we recorded it as unchanged in the September 23 round. On October 10 the page shows $98.99. Hulu does not date that change separately from the September 23 notice, so we can only say it appeared on the page between the two reads.

The Spanish-language plans are far cheaper because they carry fewer channels: Hulu + Live TV Español, Disney+ is $29.99, and Live TV Only Español is $28.99. The ESPN Unlimited access is “Not included in Live TV Español plans.” A legacy Hulu + Live TV, Disney+ Premium, and ESPN Select plan at $94.99 is “no longer available for purchase or a plan switch.”

Add-ons, and which plans can take them

Extra Member. This is Hulu’s paid way to share with someone outside your household: “A way to enjoy Hulu with your family and friends even if they are not in the same Household,” who can “Stream on one device at a time” and “Create and access only one profile.” The price depends on the base plan: $6.99 on Hulu (With Ads), $9.99 on Hulu Premium, $7.99 on the Disney+, Hulu Bundle, $10.99 on its Premium version, $11.99 on the ESPN Select Bundle and $14.99 on the ESPN Select Bundle Premium. It is not sold with any Live TV plan, either ESPN Unlimited bundle, the HBO Max bundles, or the Español plans. By our math, an Extra Member on Hulu (With Ads) is $5.50 less than a second $12.49 subscription.

Premium channels, any plan. ESPN Select $13.99; HBO Max Basic With Ads $10.99; HBO Max Standard $18.49; Cinemax $9.99; Paramount+ with SHOWTIME $13.99; STARZ $11.99. ESPN Unlimited is $31.99 as an add-on but “Only for eligible subscribers of Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Bundle plans.”

Live TV only. Español Add-on $4.99, Entertainment Add-on $7.99, Sports Add-on $9.99, and Unlimited Screens Add-on $9.99, which lets you “Stream on any number of supported devices that are connected to your Home Network.” The first three are not sold with the Español plans; Unlimited Screens is not sold with Live TV Only Español.

Where the page is silent or needs a second look

No annual price except one. Only Hulu (With Ads) shows a yearly figure. Premium, every bundle and every Live TV plan are monthly only on this page.

Student Discount price is elsewhere. The page mentions the discount and links out; the amount is not on it.

Premium still has some ads. The “excludes a few shows that play with ads before and after the video” note applies to the $21.49 plan and the ad-free bundles that include it.

Third-party billing. Hulu’s requirements are “To be located within the U.S.,” “A valid form of payment,” “A supported device” and “An internet connection with a download speed of at least 3mbps.” Prices billed through Apple, Amazon, Roku or a carrier can differ, and Disney+‘s page says pricing through third-party billing partners may vary.

No free trial on the page. The plans page does not mention a trial; Hulu keeps a separate “Free Trials on Hulu” article.

Before you pick a plan

This is a list of things to check, not a recommendation:

  1. If you only want Hulu with ads, price the year. $124.99 against $149.88 for twelve monthly payments
  2. Before paying $12.49 or $21.49 for Hulu alone, look at the bundle row. The Disney+ pair costs 50 cents more at each ad level
  3. Want HBO Max too? Compare bundle against add-on. The bundles are $1.99 and $5.49 a month cheaper by our math
  4. Live TV shoppers: Live TV Only is $98.99 and the full plan is $99.99. Read the “live content only” note before choosing the cheaper one
  5. Sharing outside the household? Extra Member is $6.99 to $14.99 depending on plan, and not available on Live TV or the HBO Max and ESPN Unlimited bundles
  6. Signed up before September 23? Your price changes in the billing cycle on or after October 21, 2026, per Hulu’s notice

How much is Hulu a month? $12.49 with ads or $21.49 for Hulu Premium, for new subscriptions as of September 23, 2026.

How much is Hulu a year? $124.99 for Hulu (With Ads), the only annual price on Hulu’s page. That is $10.42 a month by our math.

How much is Hulu + Live TV? $99.99 a month with Disney+ and ESPN Select included, $109.99 for the version with Hulu and Disney+ ad-free, and $98.99 for Live TV Only without the Hulu library or Disney+.

How much is the Disney+ and Hulu bundle? $12.99 with ads on both, $21.99 with no ads on both. Adding ESPN Select makes it $21.99 or $32.99; adding ESPN Unlimited makes it $35.99 or $44.99.

How much is the Hulu HBO Max bundle? $21.99 for the With Ads version and $34.99 for the No Ads version, both including Disney+.

Does Hulu Premium have ads? Mostly not. Hulu’s page says Premium “excludes a few shows that play with ads before and after the video.”

When do Hulu prices go up for existing subscribers? Hulu’s page says existing subscribers “will see a price change in your billing cycle on or after October 21, 2026.”

Can I add someone outside my household? Yes, with the Extra Member add-on, $6.99 to $14.99 a month depending on your plan, one device and one profile, and not sold with Live TV or the HBO Max and ESPN Unlimited bundles.

Bottom line

As of October 10, 2026, Hulu is $12.49 a month or $124.99 a year with ads, $21.49 without, and the Disney+ pair costs 50 cents more at each ad level. Live TV is $99.99 or $109.99 with Disney+ and ESPN Select included, and the $98.99 Live TV Only plan now sits one dollar below the full plan while dropping the Hulu library and Disney+. The HBO Max bundles undercut the add-on route by our math, and every price is monthly only except the one annual Hulu (With Ads) plan. The same bundles from the Disney+ side, plus the NFL+ Premium bundles, are in our Disney+ plans guide. What the HBO Max tiers inside the bundle include is in our HBO Max plans guide.
